Today Sivers IMA announces a partnership with Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDTI) to provide a state-of-the-art mmWave V-band solution for infrastructure applications. The joint solution will be based on the IEEE 802.11ad standard and incorporate the new IDT® RapidWave (http://www.idt.com/about/press-room/idt-enters-mmwave-market-introduction-industry-s-highest-performance-integrated-modem-solutions)™ dual modem together with the new Sivers IMA high-end RFIC TRX-BF01.
Sivers IMA today proudly announce the upcoming launch of a new beamforming transceiver RFIC at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona February 27thto March 2nd. The TRX-BF01 is a WiGig/802.11ad compliant 16+16 beam forming transceiver. It is a carrier grade, high speed WiGig RFIC targeting data and telecommunication infrastructure applications for the networks solutions of today and tomorrow. TRX-BF01 can be used in high speed fixed wireless access (FWA), meshed networking and backhaul as well as fronthaul solutions. It is currently supporting the 60 GHz V-band.
Sivers IMA’s latest product, TRX 1608-LT6275, a fully integrated V-band transceiver RFIC, is featured as the “Most Valuable Product” in the January issue of Microwave Journal. TRX 1608-LT6275 is suitable for many millimeter wave link applications; e.g. macro cell backhaul, small cell backhaul, fronthaul, fixed wireless access (FWA) and wireless video surveillance backhaul. This product features high integration level and superior performance, e.g. high output power and large bandwidth.
Sivers IMA is pleased to announce the release of the new RS3410X/00 radar front end. Operating at 9.5-9.975 GHz, it is intended for use in safety and security applications. RS3410X/00 is developed to provide the best possible range and reliability in difficult weather conditions.
Sivers IMA today announced that CAE S.p.A., a state-of-the-art system supplier of environmental monitoring systems, has selected Sivers IMA as their radar module partner for their Level Probing Radar (LPR) Hydrometer product. Under this partnership Sivers IMA will deliver FMCW radar technology allowing CAE to provide a state-of-the-art LPR Hydrometer solution.
Sivers IMA AB has participated in DOTSEVEN project supported by the European Union through the FP7 program. Within the framework of this project, Sivers IMA has contributed with an E-band mm-wave design on new Silicon Germanium (SiGe) technology. One of the new technologies developed in the project demonstrated an fmax of 700 GHz, which is 2 times higher than what is currently available. The project began in 2012 and was completed with great results in June 2016. A final review of the project was held in Munich in September 2016, thereby finishing the project.
Sivers IMA launches, in conjunction with the European Microwave Week in London, a fully integrated V-band transceiver RFIC. The difference between this transceiver and previous generations from Sivers IMA is that all parts are made of Silicon-Germanium. The circuit includes a complete millimeter wave transceiver (transmitter and receiver), digital control, signal source and a complete analog baseband.

Sivers IMA AB has participated in the ICT project E3Network supported by the European Union through the FP7 program and contributed with mm‐wave knowhow and state of the art transceivers for mm‐wave backhaul. This project was initiated in December 2012 and finalized with good results in May 2016. A final review was held in Brussels mid‐September 2016.
